ABOUT

TO INSPIRE, MOTIVATE

AND EQUIP PEOPLE
TO CARE FOR OTHERS IN A MORE INTENTIONAL WAY

The church world stands poised to mobilize the laity in meaningful and substantial ways. One significant advance sees the movement of church members into more hands-on caregiving of the sick, injured, grieving and lonely. The pastoral care of the congregation is slowly shifting away from the pastors back to the people.

Christian people will learn appropriate outlooks, attitudes and the skills for approaching, walking with, listening, and responding.

The world will be changed.

Care and Kindness Ministries, Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded by Dr. James Kok. The ministry seeks to use multiple avenues of spreading his vision of what he calls the Care and Kindness Campaign. It aims to ignite in all God's children a sense of calling to demonstrate extraordinary acts of kindness, attentiveness and compassion to friends, colleagues, next-door neighbors and even the stranger at the car wash.

This is God's work for us to carry out. It is good. It is possible. Our faithfulness in this practical day-to-day care-fullness will reassure humankind that God is alive and active today and will help restore hope in a pessimistic world.
